It has been proven that using a Hydrogen Conversion Kit can lower fuel costs, increase mileage, and help the environment
Building a
Hydrogen Conversion Kit used to be expensive. The only way you could convert your car to run on hydrogen was to have it done professionally. This could cost as much as $2000. Stand-alone
Hydrogen Conversion Kits sell for as much as $500.
Luckily, in the last year there have been a number of
Hydrogen Conversion Kit guides released. These guides show you how to convert your car to run on hydrogen yourself. You can use low cost materials, and with very little technical knowledge do the conversion yourself.
We decided it was time to review these guides. Our key criteria in our reviews were fuel savings, installation, and cost.
We were happy with the fact that the technology does work, and with the right guide, you can be up and running in several hours.
We reviewed 9 Hydrogen Conversion Kit guides, but only 3 met with our satisfaction.
- Fuel Savings: 30% or more increase in mileage
- Installation: under 4 hours of work, even for non mechanics
- Cost: Under $100
Gas4Free
Vic Lawson is the scientist behind the Gas4Free system. He has developed a remarkable HHO hydrogen generator that has the highest output and greatest efficiency of all our reviewed guides. His system is also the only one that allows you to choose the dimensions of the generator to fit your vehicle perfectly.
This guide is the easiest to follow of all those we reviewed. Following this guide it should take 3 to 4 hours to assemble the parts and install the generator. Gas4Free assumes no knowledge of cars, and really was very simple to implement.
This technology is proven to increase your fuel efficiency by as much as 40%. With current gas prices you could easily save the cost of the guide in a just a week or two. The author offers an unconditional 8 week guarantee, so if you are not satisfied you can get a refund of your money.
The generator produced by following this simple guide works with any gas or diesel powered vehicle. Gas4Free is the best guide in our estimation and our top pick.
Water4Gas
Water 4 Gas uses the same technology as our first choice. This guide comes with two bonus guides that make it even more valuable. It's a great bundle for the price, which makes it a solid second choice.
The website is not quite as polished, but the product still delivers. The guide wasn't quite as easy to follow as our first choice.
The unique thing about this guide is they use a stainless steel spiral in the generator, instead of the older plate technology. This means the generator draws the least amount of electrical power from the battery out of all the guides. This produces more hydrogen for less power, which means you save more money.
The features of this guide were comparable to our first choice, with the addition of 2 more ebooks. This is a solid guide with extras that make it a good second choice.
SimpleWaterFuel
SimpleWaterFuel is our last choice in this category. Again the technology is basically the same as our other 2 choices. This guide gives you everything you need to have an HHO generator installed and running on your vehicle in 3 to 4 hours time.
This guide comes with some extras like our second choice, but it's got the least amount of detail of all 3. It shows you everything you need but that extra effort we expected at this price level just wasn't there.
The website shows a lot of videos of the product in action, which is very nice. They cover all the bases and deliver a decent guide. Unfortunately it just wasn't good enough to make it higher in our ratings.
